Gairatganj is a tehsil in the district of Raisen. The pioneer missionary, Fr. David Mathew, was appointed as the priest in charge of the mission in the year 1995. It had a very humble beginning with the establishment of a kindergarten in a rented building in the year 1995, staffed by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Martha from Kerala. With the support of the people of the area, Fr. David Mathew succeeded in purchasing 8 acres of land for the school and mission centre, 2 km away from the city. It was registered on 15th April 1995. As the mission centre is dedicated to St. Theresa of Child Jesus, it is named as Pushpa Nagar.
On 1st July 1995, admission to the kindergarten began. Two days later, Sr. Leema and Sr. Jeena John, the first members of the community of sisters, arrived and began to assist in the school apostolate. The formal inauguration of “Little Flower Kindergarten” was on 19th July 1995 by Bishop Joseph Pastor Neelankavil CMI, in the presence of many local people.
In June 1996, Bishop Joseph Pastor Neelankavil CMI laid the foundation stone for the “Little Flower School” at the new site. In May 1997, Fr. John A. Patrick, the then assistant priest in charge, along with the community of sisters began staying in a store house built in the school campus at Pushpanagar. The school was shifted to the new building on 1st July 1997, with the establishment of the standard sections.
During the time of Fr. Nidheesh Adoppillil, in the academic year 2001–2002, the school got formal recognition from the M.P. Board and 31 students, for the first time, appeared for the 5th standard board examination. All of them passed with 1st division, and six of them topped meritoriously at the district level.
Bishop Mar Joseph Pastor Neelankavil laid the foundation stone for the Little Flower Convent on 16th December 2001. The work progressed steadily and on 5th October 2002 the convent was blessed by him. The new presbytery was blessed in 2003, under the able guidance and hard work of Fr. James Kadavi.
Bishop Anthony Chirayath, on 4th July 2010, invited the DST Sisters for serving in the school. In the year 2012, the school was upgraded to higher secondary under the leadership of Fr. Joby Chirayath.
A new block of the school, which was initiated by Fr. Joby Chirayath, was completed by Fr. Jijo Alappatt. It was through the initiative and able leadership of Rev. Fr. Jijo Alappatt and Rev. Sr. Alphonsa DST that the school was affiliated to the CBSE Board in the year 2016–17. At present, Rev. Fr. Joshy Eriattupadayatty and Sr. Jency Mathew DST are appointed as Manager and Principal respectively. In the year 2019, the first batch of 54 students appeared for the CBSE Class X examinations, which brought 100% result for the school.
